Moab in February

...is pretty sweet.

Let the bike tests begin.

I stopped into Moab to make a couple of shop visits and to take a couple of quick laps on the Slickrock Trail to test the new Devincis. Slickrock is still the most challenging night ride I have ever done; and even more so as a solo mission.
Early Feb temps were in the high 40's and there weren't many (or any) people taking advantage of the weather. I was greeted by an empty parking lot, a couple of crows, and beautiful views of the La Salle Mountains and the Colorado River. Day two started with a beautiful sunrise, a little frost on the sleeping bag, and completely frozen water bottle. The light was terrible and I didn't have anyone to take pictures of, but here are a few shots nonetheless...

Good living....

25 Hours of Frog Hollow

Billed as the longest 24 our race in the world. The 25 hours of Frog Hollow takes place near Virgin, Utah over the time change in the fall; hence 25hours....

Congratulations to Bec Bale (1st place Women's solo), Janelle Stewart (3rd place women's solo) and Mike Sharkey (4th place Men's solo) Rob Peterson was also out there kickin ass on a singlespeed but I'm not sure where he finished...

The fire 'booter' was a hit.
